Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)

The Southwest LRT will extend the METRO Green Line approximately 14.5 miles from downtown Minneapolis through St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Eden Prairie.

As the route map demonstrates, the route of the METRO Green Line Extension will run from SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie to Target Field Station in Minneapolis, where the line will continue east as the METRO Green Line and also connect to the METRO Blue Line, Northstar Commuter Rail, and local bus routes. The Southwest LRT video includes a route flyover, and the two images below illustrate the proximity of the LRT stations and route to the Harrison Neighborhood
